Behind now assistance is a board of five partners who come from the heart of the Argentine insurance industry: they founded and led the Argentine Insurtech Chamber, created one of the country's first 100% online brokers, chaired and founded insurance companies, and operate in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Paraguay. We didn't start from scratch: we started with thirty years of expertise behind us.
What do we do?
We provide travel assistance. When someone gets sick, has an accident, loses their luggage, or gets stranded far from home, we solve the problem on the spot. We don't sell a promise of reimbursement: we coordinate care with local providers, so travelers don't have to put their card down at a clinic abroad or fight for a refund when they get back.
Our plans cover up to USD 500,000 in medical assistance, and our call center is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in Spanish, with real people on the other end.
Where do we come from?
now assistance was born at the intersection of two Argentine insurance ecosystems that had already proven the hard part: selling insurance 100% online and sustaining assistance at a scale of millions of services.
Three of our partners founded the Argentine Insurtech Chamber in 2019 and led it from its board. On the other side of that intersection is operational scale: broker networks present in four countries, in-house contact center platforms, and assistance units that handle hundreds of thousands of services a year.
And there's a third ingredient no other travel assistance brand in Argentina can claim: two of our partners have stood on the side of the company that assumes the risk, not just the side that brokers it.
Why were we born?
Because travelers don't need a policy: they need someone to answer the phone in a language they understand and solve their problem. The category was full of fine print, call centers that just transfer you, and exclusions customers discover at the worst possible moment. We built the opposite.

How do we work?
The board
Five shareholding partners with a track record in insurance, technology, and distribution.
Founded Segurarse in 2011 and grew it into a three-country operation. Between 2013 and 2024, he acquired and chaired Cruz Suiza Compañía de Seguros. Founder and first president of the Argentine Insurtech Chamber. Holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Belgrano and an MBA from Torcuato Di Tella.
Vice President and CFO of Segurarse since 2013. Previously built his career at Capime Ingeniería in administrative and financial roles and led the implementation of ISO 9001 across the region. Founding partner of the Argentine Insurtech Chamber, where he chaired the Innovation & Technology and Operational Efficiency committees.
Founder and president of Compre Seguros, president of Wokan, Sisred, and Desol, and partner at RapiHogar. Founding partner and vice president of the Argentine Insurtech Chamber. Brings distribution networks with real reach and contact center platforms that sustain assistance at massive scale.
Managing partner at VISRED and partner and director of Desol S.A., the company that develops the group's contact center software. Previously a founding partner at Confiar Seguros. Holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Católica de Córdoba.
Holds a degree in Tourism and Hospitality from Universidad del Salvador. Nearly twenty years at American Express: she started answering phones at the call center and rose to lead Technology for Argentina and the Caribbean, with a seat on the local board. She joined Segurarse in 2021 and has been its COO since 2024.
